The evangel d had no answer for Quinn. Smith tweaked his ankle in the first qtr. taped it and gutted it out the rest of the way. He made a couple good grabs before that. If the qb was more accurate and didn't throw some bad passes and interceptions, the game would not have been that close and barbe would have scored 60. Great game to watch.

Evidently Barbe can't cover anyone either. An Evangel wr had 3 80 yard catches. Either some bad scheming going on in this one, the cbs can't cover or both of those kids are something special. We know Quinn is but I've never heard of the Evangel kid.

Film may not be that interesting, most of the time he basically just ran as fast as he could on a streak pattern and simply passes by the db and keeps going as Fontenot throws it as far as he can heave it and bingo you get a touchdown. No idea why Evangel went back to man coverage on him the last drive. He had 4 tds at that point and you gotta make someone else beat you. The play he scored the 5th td I think it was 3rd and long and he catches ball and turns to head upfield and db tackles air. What was even more hilarious was defensive coach for Evangel screaming at the db after each td when there was no way any of the kids could run with Quinn and that big dummy just refused to give help over the top. Not sure but wasnt't this the same matchup last year that Fontenot threw for over 500 yards and Quinn got on the map with 300 or so yards receiving, I can't remember for sure.
