With their blood and lives, in this case ... all for Obama's incompetence and arrogance.

re: WH "Protests not directed against America"

I can't believe no one has pointed out the following line in Carney's statement:

quote:

a film that we have judged to be be reprehensible and disgusting.

A film WE, the administration, have JUDGED to be reprehensible.

And they asked that youtube pull it.

I'll let you guess what the next step will be...

Can you provide a link to this, so we can see how obvious you were at taking it out of context?

Are you kidding? Heres the quote:

quote:

This is a fairly volatile situation, and it is in response not to U.S. policy, not to, obviously, the administration, not to the American people. It is in response to a video – a film – that we have judged to be reprehensive and disgusting. That in no way justifies any violent reaction to it. But this is not a case of protests directed at the United States, writ large, or at U.S. policy. This is in response to a video that is offensive and – to Muslims.

I watched it live. It's not out of context.

Carney Statement

re: WH "Protests not directed against America"

quote:

White House press secretary Jay Carney said Friday the violent protests throughout the Middle East are not directed at the United States or U.S. policy but are a response to a YouTube video: CARNEY: We also need to understand that this is a fairly volatile situation and it is in response not to United States policy, and not to, obviously, the administration, or the American people, but it is in response to a video, a film that we have judged to be be reprehensible and disgusting. That in no way justifies any violent reaction to it, but this is not a case of protests directed at the United States writ large or at U.S. policy, this is in response to a video that is offensive to Muslims.

Just wow.
And then, BAM! Evolution...

quote:

“We have seen circumstances in the past in other parts of the region where incidents that inflame opinion are taken advantage of, and exploited, by groups that have an interest in creating chaos and destabilizing their local governments, or attacking the West or the United States,” Carney said…

Yahoo News… Carney: "Attack May Have Been Planned"

It took how many days for that admission to be made, after one of the president's top officials got busted lying all day on the Sunday circuit?

Oh, that's right, Romney criticized Dem strategy of the past 30 years. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

re: WH "Protests not directed against America"

quote:

Is there something about red, white and blue cloth that burns more efficiently than other available fuel sources over there?

I know they don't have a lot of available trees for wood and all.

I was thinking about starting a manufacturing company that makes big American flags with big letters stating "Made in the USA" to sell to the ME countries. We have an almost unlimited source of cotton here in the USA. They seem to have an unlimited hatred for the USA. The ME governments can use the money from their oil profits to purchase the flags for their subjects to burn. Now if sales start to slow then all we have to do is get some moron to post a video on YouTube to stir the ME up again. And make it rain money. Win Win
