DE Tyquan Lewis set to announce 9/20/12 (Posted on 9/13/12 at 8:46 am)
Does anyone know anything about him? He is announcing next week with LSU, North Carolina, and Ohio State in his final 3. We talked about him briefly a while back but nothing since. Will we all be shocked next week if he commits to us? Someone that was under our radar as far as remaining committments (given the lack of remaining spots).

I would be shocked personally. I just don't see a spot for him with Beckwith and Williams still on the board - those two are worth battling it out til the end for...

It will be Ohio St. We haven't ever really pressed him at all. At one point the kid even admitted publically that his offer wasn't committable but he did receive a written offer in August. He's a backup plan and has been all along.
If we miss on Williams then he'd be one to watch. The kid is extraordinarily high on LSU without visiting and I've talked to a guy with close ties to the info surrounding him and the thought has always been that if we firmed up our offer and pressed that we would likely get him. The kid has said as much in an aroundabout way at times during the process. I don't expect it to happen. I think we get Williams and we are still in a good spot with Nkemdiche(as good as you can be in this situation).

I'm not really hating honestly; both look like quality players; very similar players and similar rankings on the sites, although I guess Lewis is a little higher
