I guess that explains why Washington isn't behind Faulk at LT. I always wondered because I remember the coaches thinking he'd be a stud. Oh well.
None of these are huge losses. Except Washington for depth maybe. IDK about Jones. He looked good last year but we'll see how Muncie continues to play. Edwards and Welter...who cares? Seriously. I don't think either of those guys were in two deep.

With the focus on academics by the athletic dept and the great facilities at Cox Center. I do tnot feel for these kids at all. Let them all go. LSU does a great job of giving these kids all the help they need. Tyler Edwards, son your just got huge cup of wake the frick up. Can't believe you failed out of school much less as a SENIOR. NICE JOB.....

While it is these guys fault, i dont see anywhere that says anyone failed out of school. I may be wrong, im assuming they need 24 hrs per school year. They prob take less hrs in fall and load up in spring and summer. So im thinking they either failed a summer class or didnt get a high enough grade to get the gpa they needed.
So classes end in August and then they appeal. Really hasnt taken that long and i bet the hurricane even delayed it with LSU being closed.
Now im not worried cus Miles has had success in graduating players. If these guys cant bust arse in a damn intersession class, they dont belong in college. Not saying this happened, but ive had intersession classes with athletes not on football team, and they did just fine.

If the semester started a few weeks ago, how does one become "academically ineligible" before the end of the semester? Were they not qualified going into the fall semester?
