this will be the first madden i buy since fitz was on the cover. what should i expect with the offline franchise since that is what i will be playing most of the time

Madden looks great this year.
I am going to wait and see how immersive the Connected mode is before committing.
I think NCAA added some immersion, but I am understanding that freezes have almost killed the mode.

NCAA's attempted immersion is not even close to connected careers. All NCAA added was player scouting which I though would be more in depth then what it is.

So if I only want to coach (not play) I can sit back and call my plays, make moves as GM and enjoy the game how I enjoy it?
Sign me up. I haven't purchased a madden in 10 years...but this has my attention.

You may have to actually play I'm not 100%. Supposedly lots of customization allowed in leagues so that may be an option. I'll have the game early so I'll be able to give more details later this week. I haven't played madden much in years but this year I'm all in. online glitchers and stuff ruined NCAA for me this year

If you sign up with your phone number, it will text you for transactions, when the commish wants to sim, or lets you know to play your game, or league changes... pretty bad ass... also you can do everything on your computer.
