yeah, I just started playing the game, and quickly realized that turning oponents on each other was very very necessary... never died so much when being so close to victory,lol. Loving the game so far

speaking of wraiths, whats the best way to fight them? Im doing the amulet quest in chapter 1 and got smashed fighting them trying to protect the woman fixing the amulet. I was thinking I need to prepare before this fight,lol, even though I almost killed them all with no potions or bombs. Bombs? A certain sign?

Definitely turn them on each other
Or back em into a corner and unleash a melee combo but gtfo..cant let em hit you once.
Save before fighting them and potion up if necc

for me it was....roll quen roll roll strike (get hit) strike while stunned roll quen roll roll
while intermittently being hit with bombs

Tried the roll and quen method.
Wasn't quite successful.
Bomb spam did the trick. Geralt ain't afraid to fight dirty.

i had to potion up bigtime. used tha same potion you use on the kayran, the poison resist
frickos Poison was taking like 50% of my life for each quick attack... brutal
i think i Aard spammed the shite out of him so he couldnt get his Quen up iirc

Started a new playthrough on Dark Mode...getting my arse kicked. frickin nekkers are one shotting me. Forgot how steep the learning curve is

Had to bump this to say this is easily the most enjoyable RPG I've ever played. I know I'm very late to this party (see the thread about why your gaming has slowed), but wow. The depth of the the main story and each side quest is incredible.
Combat, IMO, is only second to Kingdom of Amular (which had nothing else going for it). Every other aspect is top notch.
I'm just finishing chapter two and have alot of difficulty putting the game down every night. I feel like I'm pausing a movie mid-way, which I hate. And I'm already looking forward to my next playthrough as a Geralt WDGAF.
Like I said...old news. But I figure the RPG guys would check the bump and appreciate it.
