If this is a Keeper league, there is going to be duplicate players on everyone's roster next season when you relegate/promote. How is that going to work?
ie: two teams will have the same player for just about every player on the rosters

the thread was fun as hell.. and i did the same thing, i tried to take David Silva after he was already taken, but i was tabbed as Red's replacement and had about 30 seconds notice..
i dont think anyone else took another player that was already gone.. the thread was awesome though, just they way everything unfolded..

yea, im not a fan of keeper leagues either
ive never done fantasy soccer either.. ive been in the same FFL ever since we had to submit our players to the local newspaper.. but if i get in a soccer league this year, i may not do FFL.. i got a little bored with it last year

I do keeper leagues in football and baseball. Works infinitely better for baseball.

I lead the charge against keepers in soccer. Another problem is transfers to other leagues that makes players too volatile. Imagine someone like Van Persie transferred to Juve and you are left without your stud keeper.
Atom, a couple suggestions:
Start the slow draft today. If it takes Sheep a day to pick, then so be it. We are in no rush. Also, update the OP as much as you can with the draft board and change the title to say who is on the clock. The player list in the OP is also important.
Also, I think we should make a rules change that is fairly substantial. We should go with the EPL Fantasy site scoring that they have in place. One, it will be easier to keep track of team points. Two, it is an established system that I know balances the players somewhat well. Nothing against War's scoring, but I do not if the changes will shift the power to, say, defenders.
Draft all 15 roster spots. Waiting for free agency is unfair and a shitstorm. Plus, we are using FAAB, instead of traditional waivers.

I'll be in New Orleans that night celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary. I'd say start it now and we'll move at our own pace. The good news is that i now should be able to be at Finn's for the opening games of the EPL!!!
