President and CEO of Papa Johns (just watching FOX news) says he has been forced to go up on prices of his pizza by 14 cents, to pay for his employees health insurance coverage...

Maybe he ought to quit giving out two-for-ones and $10 off coupons if his margins are that tight. Or better yet cut back on his political contributions to tea party candidates.

Of course, that bring an interesting point to the fold. Weren't unions exempt from the requirement. Thus, the money they bring in doesn't have to be diverted from Democrat donations to health insurance, but yet, lefties will say if a private business can't cover the health insurance without raising costs, then they should just "cut back on political contributions to tea party candidates".

I am waiting for my insurance premiums to go down because now all these pizza bozos have their own and I don't have to pay or theirs!
We could do away with the Federal food inspectors and save about 50 cents a pizza too -
Mmmm, ..... Pepperoni and rat hair!

14 cents? That's it? I'd gladly pay an extra 14 cents for a pizza knowing that the company is providing healthcare for their workers.

Lulz.. I've been going to Cici's Pizza for like the last ten years. They seem to go up 40 cents for a buffet every year...

Exactly. Who the hell needs to be competitive... He should raise his prices to twice what his competitors charge, and he'll make twice as much as they are are! Brilliant!!

The ACA act screwed people who had insurance already and employers who were paying for insurance already.
All this crap that Obama says he provides--free birth control, no limit policies, free preventative ect.---simply raised the price of insurance.
Mine went up $4000 per year since 2008 for my family of 4.
Any employer or individual that buys insurance knows this and only the naive and blind democrat followers buy into this "we gave you free stuff" claim of Obama.
It hit the middle class hard.

you must've missed the part where they were supplying health care for their workers PRIOR TO the Obamacare. The 14c per pizza increase is due to the INCREASE IN HEALTH INSURANCE COST as a result of the Obamacare Tax.

Actually, the Obama voters getting this "free" health care really don't care if it was "given" to them by Obama or comes from money taken from you and me and the rest of the producers. We owe it to them anyway because of our greed!

The ACA act wasn't passed in 2008
Mine went down $528 dollars a year in that same time span for a family of 4. Sounds like you should speak to your employer or insurance provider.

With all of the doom and gloom we've had on this board about the cost of Obamacare to businesses, I figure we'd see something a bit more than a 1 percent price increase.
