Yea but think of the thousands of jobs that are that .5 percentage point. That's thousands of people who are able to provide for their families.
This is the one statistic I wouldn't ever want to 'round up' on.

Well, really, from a 0-100% scale, 8.3% is closer to 0% than 100%, so we will just go with that.
Unemployment is, basically, 0%!

a. that rate change is almost assuredly from people not counted as "unemployed" b/c they're not actively searching for work
b. the failure to round up is a political statement, and a pathetic one. that's what the thread is about
