It isn't, just bland. Perfect for people raised on fast foods. The only restaurants I have been to in PR are Kona Grill, very underwhelming, and CA Pizza Kitchen, waste of money. I have a feeling that kitschy is much more important than quality in PR. Look trendy, you'll pack the suckers in. Go across the street to La. Lagnaippe or Nino's.

I actually really like Perkins Rowe. Nice to sit outside late drinking wine at California Pizza Kitchen. Doesn't feel like BR.

camellia grill or pei wei would be nice. CG was planning on opening a shop there, but those idiots went under and kept them away.

Haven't been there at night in awhile, but it was starting to feel like Citiplace, especially around the movie theater. The decision to have that movie theater will be that development's downfall, just like it was with Spinosa's previous one. Adding more cheap chains seems inevitable.

we went and had dinner out there a couple of weeks ago for the first time in ages .. i see The Grape has changed names .. I wonder if it has also changed ownership. I know the guy that had The Grape. He and his bro had Cafe Avoyelles downtown on Third Street ...

This. Love Perkins Rowe. Did anyone read the article? The restaurants there make more money per patron than most N.O. restaurants. Its good for BR if this place thrives, and I am excited for more tenants...especially restaurants.

Yes. That makes sense. We don't want more competition and better restaurants. Be happy with what you have people.

something like "Bin 777" .. it still looks like it is a wine bar .. we had gone on the 4th of July and it was closed .. so we just peaked inside .. the interior's the same, just a new name .. and yes, B.D. is a great guy ..

It's Bin 77. I've been a couple of times. I believe it's the same owner or they just didn't change up the menu much. Decent little wine bar with average higher end food.

That's not what he keeps telling his subs he never paid. And maybe you're more a man than me. I know I'm not going to a night showing of any movies at Citiplace. I think the 70805 crowd has moved over there to (slightly) reduce the risk of being shot if they stay in their own hood at night.

i agree with this .. but i would imagine their lease in the current location is a song compared to PR ... but it is too small .. the place fills up too quickly before even 6PM on some nights and then you have ridiculous waits .. i have been there when people just leave in droves ..

Never paid subs at citiplace? Never heard that. Of course that's always the crutch of the anti-Spinosa person for PR. never hear it about citiplace.
