When I was traveling from Denver back to Atlanta I got to see TSA make an elderly man get out of his wheel chair and then someone had to hold him in the full-body scanner until the final second when they'd let him go. Poor man could barely stand up, but I sure felt safer that they made him stand up for the full-body dick scanner vs just a normal x-ray wand

Yes, I feel safer. No, I don't feel outraged that someone got searched in an airport. I totally believe someone bent on destroying the US would absolutely use someone like this to attack us if it became a known fact that small children who appear to have life-threatening illnesses and are going to Disneyland will never get searched.

Honestly I don't have a problem with it. It's a shitty situation still.

You realize 90% of the shite in the cargo hold of your plane isn't properly searched. Trust me, if someone wanted to blow up a plane they still could. I challenge you to find one incident that the TSA has thwarted.

Nothing makes me safe like a bunch of McDonald's quality security looking at my dick and luggage on some kind of screen.

Maybe you should take baths and avoid showering because that coukd be dangerous too. You might slip and break your neck. More people in the U.S. have probably been killed by chimpanzees than terrorist. You might want to avoid the zoo as well?!

Well, at least you are honest about your fear. Oh, and by the way, your statistical chance of being killed by a terrorist anywhere in the world is 1 in 3,500,000. You have a higher likelihood of dying in a car crash (1 in 19000), drowning in a bathtub (1 in 800,000), and dying in a building fire (1 in 99,000). Is it possible that all our fearful security measures are to thank for this? Maybe, but I highly doubt it. I find it much more plausible that everyone has built up al Qaeda to be some evil boogie man that they aren't. There were 150,000 murders in the USA since 9/11 and only 13 were committed by an al Qaeda sympathizer (Fort Hood). You are afraid of something that doesn't exist.

This is how govt entities control the population. They create a boogeyman, a common fear, and use that fear to gain more and more control on the lives of the governed. See Hitler's Germany.

Would have been awesome if he had taken the prosthetic off and started swinging it at them. I don't think anyone other than the TSA scum would have tried to stop him.

This stupid stuff does not make us safer. If I wanted to kill thousands of people using a commercial airliner, give me a month. I could plan it and do it and the TSA would be about as cumbersome as a blind kid with a slingshot on the lookout for Abrams tanks. I would never do such a thing, because I'm not evil and have no reason or motivation to kill anyone, but there security is so lax, it could be done easily.
