Great group of knowledgable Pool fans on the board(meursalt, beast, cash, BPG). I chose Pool as my team last year and never looked back. Great club that I've become obsessed with in a short period of time. Learned tons, and still learning, from this board.

Checking into the new thread.
Glad a new season is approaching, hopefully this year will be better than the last three.
I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow, so unfortunately I won't be able to see the boys in red play on our side of the pond. I hope all of you that are going have a great time.

Well I hope he likes living in Arsenal's shadow. Should have signed with Pool, Spuds will never be more than pretenders.

Money talks. Spurs better hope he is in the 25% of transfers who actually pan out because they will will have a Joe Cole or Aquilani on their hands if he doesn't.

But there is nobody I feel more able to make the call on Sigurdsson than Rodgers. I've got a feeling if Rodgers knew without a shadow of a doubt that he was the next big thing then we would have matched Spurs' offer.

On a related note, Aquilani is coming back. Y'all know how much I like the guy's talents. I think he's a better prospect than Sigurdsson (for this season). If he can just shut his fricking mouth and play ball, he will have a good season. Maybe then he'll realize other teams are willing to pay his wages.

Please let this be true. He fills a greater hole for LFC than Gylfi, especially if Aqua truly is staying. Im not getting my hopes up about landing him though.
