The R-rated comedy debuted to an estimated $4.6 million from 3,030 locations, which is the lowest opening for an Adam Sandler live-action comedy in at least a decade. It was also just over half of Sandler's last R-rated effort Funny People ($8.69 million), which is widely considered one of his biggest flops to date. The movie could finish the weekend with under $13 million, which would be a truly devastating result from one of the most consistent box office performers of the past decade.

I love sandler and haven't seen many of his last movies because I don't want to be disappointed. I saw Zohan, funny people, click etc. I didn't want to see this new one but I think I am gonna go check it out. I'll update after I do.

When did Sandler stop including his non-famous buddies in his films (qb in Waterboy, homeless guy in Happy Gilmore, etc)?

No, it's warranted. Aside from money, why would someone who had a great reputation in the business continue to churn out absolute shite movies that he could probably tell during filming would be complete and total flops? These last few movies have looked like they wouldn't even be watchable for 10 minutes, yet he keeps pumping them out. He deserves more hate. Just hang up your damn cleats already and call it a career.

Meh the studio generally turns a nice profit and they employ lots of people while filming. Just don't watch. Deserves more than hate....really? For making goofy movies?Sounds like you probably have really high blood pressure.

I'm only 26, I have perfect blood pressure All I was saying was that for a guy that was so mega-successful in the industry, it seems like at SOME point in the last few years he'd read a script and be like "hey wait a minute...this movie looks like it's gonna bomb, maaayyyybbeeee I shouldn't get involved here". He certainly doesn't need the money.

For a $70 Million Budget, would that be bad? That'd be bad, wouldn't it?
