All the attachments are weapon-specific now, you can't say the foregrip sucks on everything until you try it.
True but compared to the other attachments that you could use, the foregrip is less effective and can cancel out some of the good effects. I have barely touched the AKs-74u so it might work great on there. Before the patch though i had a foregrip on everything and loved it, then i wasnt getting kills as quickly after the patch because i was missing more shots. after i took the foregrip off though, i am right back to hitting those shots. But if it works for you then use it ETA: I just tried that setup minus the flash suppressor because i dont have that unlocked yet but even i was saying WTH on some of those kills. but on most of the guns i have used, not having the foregrip has made them feel more accurate. This chart shows what some of the combinations of foregrip + another attachment do. It looks like the flash suppressor may be better without the foregrip but again, do what works best for you

Cool, I will try it without the foregrip. That is the only attachment in the second slot though. Tac light, suppressor, heavy barrel and flash suppressor are all in the third slot.

i've found use for the foregrip/heavy barrel in heavy cqc maps (i.e. metro, bazaar)....the foregrip cancels out some of that upwards recoil and you still get the range

Yea, it blows for the most part, but it still has some uses like that. I think I had some success with it and the heavy barrel on the F2K

I haven't played BF3 since about 2 weeks after release. I may start playing it again soon, but I will most likely suck.

Suppression is a huge part of the game now.

Tried the AKS-74u without the foregrip and honestly didn't notice much of a difference at all. So it's good either-or.

I used to always get suppression points just because I couldn't aim for shite and would just pray and spray while others got the kills. So now, I'll be more useful to my squad?

I didn't really notice any different with the few guns I tried this morning. I do like the ACOG on the G3A3, it's just a shame it has a 21 round clip.

Yes, and then you'll get the suppression medal and be like what the frick? Pre patch I only got the suppression ribbon 7 or 8 times. Now I've gotten the medal twice without even doing anything different.

I always use the squad cover perk now. I'm the same way with the suppression ribbons. I also don't know if just because I've become a better shot, but I get a lot more accuracy ribbons now for headshots.

Yeah, if I'm not using squad cover I make sure someone in my squad is. The other day I suddenly started being shitty, then I noticed the guy on my team using Cover had left.

Is Cover the one that prevents suppression? I thought only the Squad Leader's perk counted. So you can have a guy with Ammo, Sprint, Cover, and Suppression on the same squad?
