This is the biggest difference between LSU fans and other schools - especially Bama. Most other fan bases don't even recognize other sports.
In 97 I asked a Bama friend if he wanted to watch the CWS CG -- he didn't even know Bama was playing, much less that they were ranked #1 at the time.

I couldnt agree more Rummy...it's time to fricking let this go. It's over and done with. Time to move on...
We have a young and upcoming basketball team...
We have a 6 time defending national championship baseball team with a great young pitching staff getting ready to start up...
The time for mourning is over!

I am excited for LSU and Shep. Leaving that way with unfinished business would have eaten him alive. We got our leader back! Never stopped being a TIGER, but positive news is so much better to read than all the dejection that has filled the rant this week!
