Most importantly, and something that seems to be lost these days, is that Miles runs a good, CLEAN program that graduates the kids and gives them a heads up in life. He teaches discipline, and all of his teams have been well disciplned. The kids love him, and would run through brick walls for him. He wins. 61-16. BCS title. Nuff said. Miles is a great coach, and i have always stood behind him. I think we would be idiots to get rid of him.
Makes bad personnel decisions at times and he is offensive minded, yet our offense has been a problem past three seasons. Offense has no identity. Recruits a lot of pro set players with spread athletes. Make up your mind and recruit for one system.
Mediocre gameday coach, can't get the basics down at times.
Keeps almost every game close.
Player's coach for sure, everyone plays hard for him.
Classy coach with integrity.
Luckiest coach I've ever witnessed in CFB. Call it Voodoo or whatever...
He is suitable for sure and can improve in some areas. But what you see is what you get from Miles. Everyone just needs to accept it. Do I like him? In some ways, yea, others, no. But he'll get my support as long as he has a LSU logo on. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him gone though but I don't desperately want him to leave at this point either.
