An example that I didn't know until recently when a friend told me...It may be common knowledge but I had no idea.
We were talking during the Super Bowl about all the bull shite about the NFL trademarking the "WHO DAT" phrase and all that noise...I asked why don't we bring back some old sayings from when we were younger like.."CHA CHING!"
My buddy informed me that Seth Green is the guy who played the kid in those commercials. I didn't believe him until I looked it up, and sure thing.

Not so much an actor/actress dilemma, and I'm embarrassed to admit this, but when I first saw O' Brother Where Art Thou I was younger and I didn't know/realize it was based on the Odyssey.
It blew my mind once I figured it out.
