Easy....when you realize the left foot has no bearing on the ruling. He did not demonstrate control and possession when the left foot was down. The issue is whether the right foot touched the sideline. People have posted a lot of videos of the play, but none show "green" between the sidelines and his shoe. THAT is indisputable evidence.

You are wrong sir. Once the ball hits PP's hands there are no bobble even when being transferred from out from his body towards his body. He must have had stickum on them cause it was a beautiful catch showing complete control while positively getting one foot down and possibly two.

Ever look into lasik?

There's no defending the interception bro, so the fact that you're trying to is simply displaying that you're just trying to pick a fight, which does not reflect well on yourself.

This is pretty damning. Have you tried sending this to CNNSI? I am being serious.

Nobody ever said there was a bobble

1. I'm not your "bro"
2. I'm not defending anything other than looking for positive evidence his right foot was down inbounds. If so, it should have been overturned on review.

So far, there is no look that shows "green" between his foot and the sideline. If someone has it, I'd love to see it.

Ignored the fact you made a false claim on the penalty....didn't you.

The interception was iffy at best, coulda gone either way, I'd be inclined to call it an Int myself. I also think Bama got robbed on the spot that led to the LSU safety. An LSU player was standing at the 4 yard line, the ball hit at the 2 yard line and bounced toward the player, he put his hand down, and the ball changed direction back toward the goal line. That ball should have been placed at the 4 yard line, and if it had, the safety never would have happened. Result 2 points for LSU and great field position on the free kick. I'm sure if the picture poster wanted to, he could post these pics as well, but I would be willing to bet that he doesn't, because it doesn't help his argument about biased refs, and in fact hurts it.

Akaka, you have once again proven yourself to be incapable of officiating a game. Your lack of ability to see something with your eyes and correlate it with your rule book. We recently argued about UF left tackle lining up in the backfield. I have noticed in UF subsequent games that he is no longer lining up as far back as he did against LSU. By your inability to acknowledge Peterson having control of he ball with his left foot already clearly in bounds, which is all that is required, confirms your blindness. Most on this board acknowledge how difficult it was to make the call on the field as it happened so fast and the officials looking down the sideline may have had their vision obstructed by other players in their line of sight. However the replay clearly shows both feet touched in bounds with possession.

Two feet in...and he had control with his hands. Clear as a bell...even to Bama fan.

re: Summary of LSU-Bama officiating errors...WITH PHOTOS!

At the point that he spears jj, the zebra behind the play grimaces when jj get’s unloaded on! So he saw what took place. So he either A) does not understand the rules of the game or B) is deliberately not making the call,,,
This makes me feel like I’m watching wrestling!
It looks so scripted when the right calls are not being made in the big games, and it's so lop-sided!?
I wonder if LSU had beatin Florida, would the horrible calls, no calls in this game, have gone the other way??? The teams in the SEC are really fun to watch, and have great athletes (i.e. Julio’s run, and Peterson’s int.) Who knows what would have taken place within the final 5 minutes left in the game? The INT should have given the Tiger’s the ball at the 50 yrd line? There could have been 2 more incredible offensive scores by both teams, and ended on a defensive go ahead pick 6 with no time on the clock and Bama winning the game??? Who fricking knows, because the refs looked at the replay on High Def from all angles and FAILED to make the right call! Yes the Tiger’s could have made another great play and stop them again after the bad call, but anyone watching knew that was the end of the game, and so did the Ref that didn’t make the call!
This is the best conference in college football, yet the officiating is way below average (borderline CORRUPT, and the SEC in general off the field has lacked integrity lately in the Nation’s eyes.
Bottom line is both teams deserve to play 60 minutes of football and determine the outcome of the game themselves within the rules of the game!

ok ill take your word for it

You can go to the SEC digital network and watch it there

do you know what the game clock was on that one?

What and when did the Patterson play occur?

we were in our redzone but not ure wehn in the game it was before his TD maybe the same drive but Im not sure. He was on the left side of the O line. He was called offsides but when rewatched it is clear he did not move until after the flag is in the air by the line judge.

You're reaching if that's the best you've got.

Congratulations to Bama. You guys played a great game, as did LSU. I have no ill-will toward you, your fans, your players or your coaches. We just wanted an opportunity to win the game in the fourth quarter, and we feel that opportunity was taken from us, and I'm sure you agree, as most Alabama fans I've spoken with do.

re: Summary of LSU-Bama officiating errors...WITH PHOTOS!

The "catch" of the ball begins when the ball touches the receiver's hands (in this case PP). At that moment when the ball touches the receiver's hands, he has one foot on the ground (his left). Subsequently, he tucks the ball without a bobble and proceeds to get a second foot inbounds (his right), which is technically moot b/c he's already gotten one foot in bounds AND is in the process of making an un-bobbled catch. A receiver does not have to have the ball tucked away and THEN get a foot inbounds. The "catch" begins the moment the ball touches the receivers hands. Learn the rules.

P.S. If this isn't true, the Arizona Cardinals got robbed out of Superbowl win last year.
