Tae Provens and Chris Curry are already strongly committed and I think we are gonna get Joiner too. Who do you think is going to have the largest impact? I like Curry, his run style is reminiscent of a Thomas Rawls or a young Marshawn Lynch. The film is undeniable the kid has a motor. Provens is a great satellite back type who is going to be something very similar to an Alvin Kamera type but I have concerns about his size. Joiner is a brusier who is a good combination of size and speed but i think Curry runs harder and Provens runs faster but Joiner is by far the most well rounded.

Tae Provens film
Harold Joiner film

(Chris Curry film is private and not avalaible through hudl)

Any other major RB targets that I'm missing ?

I feel like Joiner is the only one that can come in and get a substantial amount of carries in 2018.

I disagree, I really think Curry would fight for a significant amount of carries but more in a Darrell Williams complimenting LF7 style. Curry is a hard runner who could grind out yards on the goal line

Personally, I like Curry based on what I think we need. I also do not think Curry is anywhere near his ceiling.

I do NOT think Joiner will outgrow the position. I learned my lesson on that regarding skill players years ago. Skills matter more than size/weight. Of course it's usually the "too small" argument; this is the opposite.

Curry is a good back but I question his speed

Curry all the way. I like Provens as a change of pace player.

Curry for sure.

I also prefer Pooka as the scat back.

Another back to watch possibly and I know juco will bring downvotes just watch the film and let me know what you think. With the uncertainty in the backfield adding Greg Bell 6ft 200 all around back who runs a 4.4 wouldn't be all that bad. Ton of teams are after him after he decommitted from Louisville recently. The words when I brought it up were "I'd jump all over that" so just let me know what you think Hudl

They all will be on the bench once the 2019 kids get here anyways so what does it matter.

damn... that film and offers don't match.

What do you think the reason is- Grades? truly under the radar? competition level?

Well he has more offers than any site shows but I still think he's vastly overlooked and his grades are good to go

Joiner's recruitment is very unpredictable but bama is the leader as of now but things can change quickly with him. Juco oline and dline are huge points the staff are focusing on now. Expect to see a few guys from juco visiting soon few highly rated guys and some committed to different schools! I have not spoken to one guy who's committed to a different school who wouldn't open the process back up if LSU came knocking. Unlike some HS guys they understand what an LSU offer means no matter how we're doing

Tae Provens, 3-star RB Provens returned to the field for the first time in a month after being sidelined with a minor ankle injury, and he made it count. LSU’s running back commit from Alabama scored five touchdowns on runs of 74, 2 and 12 yards, and on receptions of 69 and 71 yards. In total, Provens amassed 250 yards on the ground and another 72 yards receiving in his return to action.
