Are you going to put the “01” on it or the stars and bars?

How much for a smoker with a fire box on the back center?

I wanted a Shirley Fabrication which are the Cadillac of stick burners. They started in the 2500-3k range. That's why I built mine. I've got about 1200 in it as of now.
Originally I was gonna do a stick burner but the idea of babysitting a fire became less appealing the older I get.

I had my eye on this one but couldn't justify the cost. Shirley fabrication

Looks great and I admire ya work. I find it much easier to hang sausage when ya smoke it ya should cut ya some rebar and take out a few shelves and give it a try even smoking and no grill marks

Thank you for the compliment. It's been a long project but it's rewarding knowing that I built it and it should last many lifetimes.
That's a great idea about the sausage hanging. I have about 100 ft of 1/2" rebar in the barn.

It’s finally finished and I’m seasoning it now. It will be cooking this weekend. I’m tickled on how it came out. Shouldn’t ever need another one. It’s a tank.

There are a few on the 1st page. It’s got 5 racks and is all 1/8” plate Steel. Heavy but holding the heat. It’s been holding 250-252 for the last hour.

You got some kind of fan (besides the ceiling fan) or something? That ceiling is gonna get jacked up if you smoke a lot.

That thing looks like a beast nice work.
