Has anyone here ever connected through TGU before...and lived? If so, how was the landing/takeoff?
I booked a trip and started looking at the connections and realized this is considered one of the most dangerous airports in the world, due to the short runway and mountains. I've never worried about something like that, but damn the google image search... Unfortunately, it's about the only way to make it work with times and dates.

The approach is a step down process and must be well executed, or you'll have to power up. It kinda reminds me of the old Hong Kong (Kai Tak) approach.

The time I landed/took off there I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary. (It was avianca airlines)

They removed the hill and extended the runway about a decade ago
