I personally like to do 2 heavy sets first, then do the rest pause so similar to replacing last set of greyskull with the rest pause, but as you get better at pushing to complete failure you will have to back off those heavy sets some.

Right now I'm 160 lb.

Short stature so bench is one of my more advantageous lifts. I'd love to hit that 315 mark within the next year; that may be more of a stretch goal with 300 as the real goal. Haven't maxed in years so I have no idea where I'm actually at. My most recent workout I went 135x12, 185x10, 205x8, 225x6.

Currently my main goal is increasing stability in my left knee (acl surgery) so that I can get into heavy (heavier?) squats again. Not sure if that is actually attainable, though. Right now I can hit 135x12 no problem, but if I try to up weight to say 185 my knee gets into some serious, sharp pain. It's very frustrating. Moreso because I can leg press 450 for reps no problems at all. I'm hoping that might mean it's my form on squats and I can get it back.

I can't deadlift heavy. I've had lower back problems my whole life. Just not in the cards for me ha.

A side goal is increasing my bicep curl (I'd love to get some aesthetic growth along with this). I'm so freakin' weak there. They just won't grow (strength or size).

Biceps are built on back day.

Heavy dumbbell rows and chin-ups.

I think if he’s going for max weight on his bicep curl there will be a lot of cheating in his form/movement and the growth won’t be there.

If you really want to grow the biceps, hit them from different angles, moderate weight, and proper form (no cheating)

Lots of jealous people with the downvotes in the OP. I embrace your hate.

always. Its the same people that have every excuse in the world. Its people like you, me, and a bunch of the other regulars who are all in their 30s who dont let any excuses get in their way. Its why we are considered weird, obsessed and any other derogertory term you can think of.

I want to do Augusta 70.3 in 2018. So I'm trying to get in good shape to prepare for the training.

The run is only 13.1 miles.

It's a half iron man. 70.3 miles total.
