Hinted at Alleva not coming through with some of the things he supposedly promised Wade.

Alleva is s cancer.

Here you go:

quote:

On what he feels needs to be improved around the program…

“Our administration knows how we feel about what I think we need to continue to move forward. There obviously needs to be some work done on our arena here. There needs to be some work done on our practice facility here. There’s some work that needs to be done on the nuts and bolts of how the program functions. I’ve had candid discussions about what I feel needs to happen, and they’ve been very open and receptive, and I think we’ll be able to move forward on some things, if we want to be a championship-level program, which I think we all want to do. We didn’t come here to get participation trophies.”

that doesn't sound very alarming at all, like I said from the very beginning. Wade knows LSU didn't just have 40+ million sitting around to throw at the PMAC. If football continues its trajectory and basketball wins, then the money will be there in no time. For now I see no issue paying a 34-year-old 2.5 mill and giving him a nice staffing budget, plus a really nice new scoreboard.

Next weekend, Williams will visit LSU, a program that has been hot on the recruiting trail this year. “They got Nazreon Reid and Javonte Smart; I love those guys. I have been knowing those guys since middle school. We talk like every day,” he said. “I cannot wait to go out there. It is going to be crazy.”

A member of the Each 1 Teach 1 travel program, a former star of the program who once suited up for LSU is doing his best to get Williams in a Tigers uniform. “I talk to Tone (Antonio Blakeney) every day. He is like my blood brother,” Williams said. “He just said he loved it and that with the new coach, he wished he would have stayed for another year. He still goes there to work out and that he just loves the assistants on staff.”

Looks like LSU has a good shot at getting this kid.

I wish Tone would have stayed another year too. I hope he sells the program on his buddy Mr. Williams

Basketball will be sold out this year for the first time in a while. I think the place will be rocking again, which should bring in even more recruits. If WW is just as successful on the court and I think he will be then he will get what ever he wants.

They aren't just going to invest in the program without seeing some results first. It'll come and basketball + football + baseball revenue will be huge for LSU. Maybe Alleva can take some of that money made from BB and pour it into football recruiting. And Orgeron could probably go talk to WW about his recruiting philosophy, get some pointers to pass down to his staff.

Archie
Days
Williams
Reid

Is so much better than I could have hoped for or imagined at this time last year

Days can be somewhat of a building block player. Has a game better suited for college than NBA imo. Archie would be a guy on the same caliber, but it looks like we missed on him

Big weekend with these guys. Hope the open practice gets a nice turnout so they can see the support.
