Is there a gauge thinner than "thin"? I've got a pick that I've used for years that I love. Use it for both electric & acoustic.

I've been looking for a new one, but even the thin gauge isn't as light as the one I have.

Well, ummm, we're going to need you to be specific. Do you remember the brand at all? Hell, even the color could help us.

Dunlop Nylons are the most readily available of ultra thin picks off the top of my head. You can probably find something meeting your specs via Googling.

Thickness on guitar picks in general is measured in mm, often in fractions for thin to medium gauges. A 1.0mm is on the medium to thicker side. A Fender "Thin" is probably about .35mm if I had to guess. I'd suggest shopping for picks that are below that range.

I play mainly with these white .46 nylon dunlops. I don't think you will see many picks thinner than this. They sound good to me. I prefer a little thicker for electric lead stuff but I some times use these thin ones.

I stopped losing picks when I started using Gravity Picks. Freakin things are too expensive to lose.

What material was the pick ?

In my experience a thin pick (maybe a Ultex or Tortex) can be stiff or stiffer than a similar celluloid, soft plastic (credit card type), or nylon.
