Chris Childers called out Alleva on ESPNU radio Monday. Everyone who follows college football closely knows the clusterfrick LSU has been since 2015

LSU is the butt of all jokes right now. We fired a coach(which I agreed with that decision) whose team played for 2 national championships and replaced him with a coach that won a total of 3 SEC games in 3-years while coaching at Ole Miss.

What could go wrong with that decision?

No, it's the $12M buyout that will get Alleva fired.

The decision to hire O was made by the same guy responsible for extending the contract of our previous coach. Their total combined buyouts exceed $20 million as of this season.

It is pretty amazing to think about. Firing Miles for O. Wow.

The upshot, thanks to being the only major program in Louisiana, I think the right coach can turn things around in a couple years no matter how bad things get.
