Out Of State License Help
Posted by The Torch on 9/29/17 at 7:58 am00
I currently reside in Texas so I have to buy an out of state license to hunt my own family land.
I don't mind this and understand.
When I go online the only option is for the 2018 season, is that considered this year since the season may carry over the 1st of January ?
Season opens Sunday and I'm ready except a license

I can't help much on the dates but if you were born in La you qualify for a lot cheaper license than the standard out of state person.
You will need a copy of your birth certificate to prove place of birth to qualify.

I was and will check this out
It is called the Native Son license, it is a 5 or 7 day license but you can buy it multiple times in a season. So it depends on how much time you spend hunting your family land to figure out which license is best for you.

Does this apply to fishing licenses also. I'm going fishing in La. this Fri/Sat and need a two day license. Can I get it online?
