If the hail mary catch stands and LSU beats Vanderbilt does Archer keep his job? LSU finishes 6-5 in this scenario

No. Expectations were for more than 6 wins a season, and they should have been.

I wish that was on Youtube, I remember that was an awful call and a great catch.

Side note on LSU/Vandy Sports from way back:
I like how in basketball the Eddie Fogler guy and Dale would go at it and hated eachother.

Vandy only won one game that season. Guess who it was against.

Yeah, us. And if I remember correctly they even lost to SMU who hadnt been that far removed from the death penalty. Mack Brown's brother Watson was the Vandy coach. Awful game.

I was there... Kinchen made the Hail Mary catch and I remember going crazy with my bud and then heard Vandy fans cheering the F'n flag... Sucked

It was an obvious push off. You just don't see it called in those situations.

I member. I was a young teenager and working in a concession stand in the south end zone for our church for 89 and 90 seasons. Very tough seasons. I don't think 6-5 saves him after 4-7. Crazy how much things have changed with LSU football

I shudder when I think if all the close games that DiNardo lost in 1998 and 1999. If he wins a couple of those then LSU may never have hired Saban.

Crazy that we hired a coach that will bring us back to the early 90s.
