Trump as the Independent of course

ETA: you realize how much that would fuel his campaign right? Have people not learned a thing in the past 20 months???

I don't vote.

There would be a massive uprising with millions of people in the streets. The GOP would implode. The MSM would jizz themselves.

All of them at once? And the downside would be?

If the Dem-wits keep behaving the way they have been since Trump's election and the GOP does't nominate him as their candidate, Trump's chances to win will escalate big time. I think the majority of Americans are seeing the left for what they are: insane. I also think they see the GOP for what they are, as well: lame ducks.

Do you want a civil war?

'Cause that's how you get a civil war

Your Hypo is impossible because the one way for the GOP to get another guy in would be for the RNC to defund Trump and throw money behind another guy. Trump doesn't need RNC money to get the nomination.

Depends on the candidates. Probably the GOP candidate unless the Dem candidate can somehow convince me they will makes conservative judicial appointments and will advance a free market economic agenda. They probably will not be able to do that so I'll probably go with the GOP candidate. I'm a pragmatist when voting. I have no problem holding my nose and voting for the least bad candidate in order to defeat the worse candidate.

If they do this, the 2020 election will make Reagan's drubbing of Mondale look like it was competitive.

Libertarian. Again. Not because they have a candidate worth much, but because it's better than voting for someone I despise.

I see this thrown around a lot. Truth be told, this country doesn't have the stomach for a civil war. Hell, it hardly has the stomach to fight the war on terrorism (totally separate topic, I know).

That would be the fastest way to drain the swamp.

eta..the distrust of congress would shoot through the roof and every incumbent would be voted out.

I'm kind of hoping a bunch of republican incumbents get primaried in 2018 setting the tone not to jack with him.
