Will it be hard for O to match miles in recruiting? Time will tell. O is a hell of a recruiter in his on right. The coaching staff though, imo, has already been significantly improved. We shall see. I do get, however, that there are many experts on the rant that already knows Lsu and O will both fail.

Yes. O knows how to evaluate talent. It would be one thing if it was approaching February and Lsu was striking out. That ain't the case here. They are going after these players because they see something in them. You can bet that Lsu will also land a few 5 stars before it is over, and a handful of these 3 stars will move up. Of course, you are dealing with kids here that want the shiny toy. Doesn't matter if the toy is not durable...it is flashy. After all, the majority of these kids wanted Herman, proclaiming him the next great. They see a couple big wins, and ignore the fact that the teams he had that were talented enough to beat some top dogs, would turn around and Lise to bottom dwellers. Herman may turn out good, who knows, but he has won nothing of significance to acclaim him the next great.

And I'm stating facts that it is a long ways until Feb...so unless you think O is panicking and pulling the trigger way too early...I will trust O and staff at this point. It would be different if it were January and he was just trying to fill out a class with a bunch of 3 stars
