I haven't really watched much film on on him but my understanding is he can run really good and has a strong arm.

Hypothetical situation here, but let's say he and Brennan both become everything people speculate they will become. There is no chance in hell both of them stay at LSU if only one is seeing any significant play time.

Could Narcisse be used as a running back with strong throwing possibilities along side Brennan? Hypothetically is he THAT strong of a runner?

If it came down to that, Brennan would be moved to long snapper.

That... makes... no sense.

My question was asked because I don't know much about him. Cam Akers played QB in high school and was pretty damn good at that position but he ain't playing QB at the college level. But I can bet you will still see some passes made by him in college.

Both are not going to be playing QB at LSU and niether one of them will sit on the bench as a backup when they could get play time elsewhere.

There are so many unknowns in that little scenario it would be like saying "it's going to rain Jan 17th, 2024.

Pointless conversation

Well, I will say this. If they both march out to the huddle, the opposing defense is going to have no idea what to do.

LaTech use to do something similar... they had a pro style (qb) and dual threat (rb) in on a lot of plays and run play action off of that

Pretty cool to watch

Lol you should know that asking an honest question on the rant will get you crucified. From what's been said on Gordys show and Tiger Rag radio is that right now if Etling went down Narcisse would get the chance over Brennan to take the reigns this season because he's so far ahead of Brennan physically. But as far as upside Brennan has much more an is going to be the next full time starter at LSU as soon as his body is SEC ready. Everything I've heard an read from Baton Rouge to national media is that Brennan is about as close to a can't miss NFL prospect as there is in his age group.

Brennan is a much more advanced passer and defense reader. Will be the back-up to Etling and start for three years.

Many of you guys still don't get it.

Fast feet and strong arms (Without touch or accuracy) don't make a Quarterback.

This was what I was thinking. A handoff would mean nothing basically. With a typical RB, a handoff means all DBs and LB come immediately forward. In a typical handoff situation, that means more people there to stop or slow down a RB. But if a major threat of a pass was still there, what do you do? DBs can drop their reciever coverage for fear of getting burned and LBs still have to contend with the possibility of a run freeing up a pass to someone in the middle of the field for a 10 yard gain or so.

It also makes fake handoffs (if exicuted properly) really hard to defend especially if Narcisse ran right but Brennan rolled left (or vice versa).

A guy I work with lives near Thibodaux and has seen Narcisse play a couple of times. Here was his take in 3 points
1. Clearly the best athlete on the field
2. Very strong arm
3. Accuracy problems

Don't need a running QB. We haven't had one since Flynn!

All Semjackass (BRAVEHEART) knows for sure is Brennan is white and that is good enough for him. He is a psychopath racist on this site. It takes a special deviant to be that level of racist. And he far exceeds that level of specialness.

He'll never take a snap under center anyway for LSU so I guess he should do as you suggested.
