you have no clear idea what it means to have team accomplishments vs. individual performances.

I know exactly what that means having played sports all my life. My point, which you seem to be missing, is that I could give less than 2 fricks about Ben's individual accomplishments. Who cares. He had a good season...for himself...but the TEAM didnt get in the tournament. I see that as a failure for both Ben and the team. I mean how does the most highly prized recruit in LSU history miss out on the tournament? Its a fair question, given the sports pundits were asking the same thing.

If I score a goal in one of my men's soccer games...and we lose the game anyway...I see that as a failure. I'd rather not score and win.

You know, saying you'd take guys like Trent Dilfer over Dan Marino...or Jordan Jefferson over Zach Mettenberger.

For the record, you and your idiot friends threw these names out there....not me. I'll state again, I'll take whichever QB can get me to the SB that year.

You wanna put a premium on his lofty stats for the season...knock yourself out man. But looking at it from a team standpoint, it means nothing.

And that's what some of these fans forget. One mentioned Anthony Davis....fwiw Davis told his teammates yall shoot it, im going to get the rebounds and block shots. (TEAMPLAYER)

He didn't tell his coach look im on the perimeter.

And its clear some ranters here didn't know about him and Quarterman getting into it.

Better yet did anyone see BS exit interview and documentary?

And yet, you blame HIM for us not getting to the tournament. You blame the guy who was clearly the best player on the team by a mile. The guy who in repeated losses put up double doubles, in some losses going for 28 points, 17 rebounds and 21 points, 20 rebounds. You're blaming THAT GUY for the team not accomplishing it's goals. Let that sink in.

Again, INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE doesnt directly translate into TEAM PERFORMANCE. Case in point, Ben Simmons has a ridiculous season, yet in spite of the way he played the team could not get to the tournament.

Case in point, Ben Voogd was fricking terrible, but his freshman year, the team, in spite of the way he played, the team went to the final four.

Do you not get it still? How 1 player performs doesn't necessarily translate 1 way or another on how the entire TEAM performs. This is why we made fun of you repeatedly, because you STILL don't understand this concept. You very openly said "I want guys who have had success from A TEAM standpoint"...that's why we're throwing the comparisons out there we are because your statement is ridiculous. Hopefully now you see why wanting a Trent Dilfer over a Dan Marino or a Jordan Jefferson over a Zach Mettenberger makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Great players can exist on teams that have a bad or mediocre season. Likewise, terrible players can exist on teams that win it all.

Case in point, to a degree, Russell Westbrook

They've said it several times that cal lets his players play. IN his OWN words he said he in some games is in charge of the timeouts. The year he had AD, the players were telling him what to do. He didn't interfere because it was working. Coaches just need to know when to step in and when not to.

Williams even said he holds his players accountable.

In the beginning the cameras and stuff seemed like a good idea and great exposure to the program. But no one realized the negative effect it actually had on the team until it was all over with.

Saw Steven Adams tonight looking comfortable with the Thunder. Remind me again what Davis is doing these days....oh wait!!! I know....NADA

He looked dominant in his 5 point, 7 rebound performance?. Really took the load off Westbrook

Anthony Davis is just being an elite player.

Serious question: you think any team would take Adams over AD?

Hell, why stop there:

Robert Horry is the greatest basketball player to ever live by your logic

Because his head coach was a fricking joke who had no earthly idea how to adjust when teams keyed in on him, the best shooter on the team was hurt much of the year, the entire team played god awful defense, etc. Do you need anything more? My God it's like you didn't watch a single game. Did I mention his coach was hot fricking garbage and just got fired for having arguably the worst year in LSU hoops history the year after Simmons left?

As for this "he didn't bleed p&g" nonsense,

Go watch his exit interview then lets see if you still think so.
1. He ONLY came here Because of his godfather
2. And LSU agreed to allow the cameras and stuff.

But here are the few friends he had on campus

This isn't football or baseball... you al keep forgetting that... one player in basketball can absolutely carry a team. Turn on OKC dumbasses.
Buddy Heil made him his bitch at the end of the OU game BY stepping up when he didn't.
