Anyone sailed on the fantasy and the magic or wonder? How is it similar or different. I know it's a bigger ship. I have done both the magic and wonder in the past. Wife and kids want to do another cruise for summer vacation next year. Fine with me. Looking at the may 17th 3 day with 2 stops at castaway cay.

Disney Dream is the best of them all.

The biggest differences I noticed was Remy being on the newer ships and the youth clubs having a few variances.

Both are great.

Done fantasy twice and magic once. I prefer the adult section of the bigger ship and the kids prefer the expanded kid area with the oceaneer club etc. Flipside is the pool area is not much bigger if it all in the arse with that many more people it gets really crazy . However I like the casual food by the pool better on the fantasy is there's more options than just the pizza place .

so I lean big ship but I haven't been on the magic since it was redone

Why are you posting in this thread if you've never been on a Disney cruise?

Looking at booking on the Wonder for Mardi Gras 2018. I wonder if Castaway Cay will be a waste in February?

We were there this past February. It was very windy and cold. We went to the beach but they wouldn't let you do anything in the water. The wind was so hard that when we left nassau they went straight to the island and we docked there that night. Captain said if he didn't may not have been able to the next morning due to wind. The crew on the island said the day before was beautiful. So I guess it just depends on the day.

Last Mardi Gras we looked at DCL as well but opted for a 7 day on Liberty of the Seas out of Galveston (it's their dreamworks cruise). Went to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

Characters from King Fu Panda, Shrek, Madagascar, etc. ice skating, water slides, flowrider...It was awesome and significantly cheaper than Disney.

Including the premium alcohol package for my wife and I it was like $2500 for three (two adults and one child). The ship was magnificent. Every bit as nice as the Fantasy/Dream.

We're going on that one. I'm wondering about the weather too. It sounds like it could go either way.
