Differences in fanbases
Posted by Ponchy Tiger on 8/29/14 at 8:53 am00
So I am over here for game and staying with some friends in Spring. Last night we head over to this place in Magnolia called Tailgators to drink a few and watch college football. This place is full of Aggies obviously. They are all decked out in their hats, polos etc. When we walked in I am thinking ok this will be fun and a lively night. I couldn't have been more wrong. A&M scores and they don't even react. I started noticing they were pretty much indifferent about the game. I am like WTF? Is this normal for Aggies? If this had been a LSU game back home ppl would be going crazy. Everyone was nice and all, just a weird experience.

Not that typical..... Aggies are passionate and obsessive.....
The difference between our fan base and theirs is they feel like they actually won more than they really did last night.
We'd be looking to fire someone cause we didn't pass for 600 yards.

I met up with some aTm chicks I know last night (smokeshows, both of them) at the Aggie bar in Chicago and it was pretty fun. Not as crowded as I've seen it for some other big games for them, but still decent.

Its b/c they know that this was their big win and plenty of a$$ whoopins lye ahead. Especially on 11/27.

quote:That's ridiculous! Nobody would complain about that offensive performance. Now, the defense on the other hand, many people would certainly be going crazy over 28 points to SC.

Our fanbase has slacked off tremendously....
There wasnt a single game that was packed last year.... Not even for FL or AU....

The mystique is gradually fading for sure. Very spoiled, entitled fan base now.
