Are you really that idiotic? I never heard of any game at any school in the country where tens of thousands didn't show up because of traffic. I graduated from LSU in 1972 and they patted us down at the student gates before we entered the stadium. I never had a problem in getting searched and I guess when tens of thousands don't show up due to traffic, I guess that's why LSU has a waiting list for season tickets and the stadium was recently expanded. That traffic flow on Highland Road during a home game, caused me to be a no show. Stupid is as stupid does.

Simple...move student section to south and have best of both worlds.

Absolutely. LSU needs to start jerking block seating away for poor attendance, arriving late, an leaving early. This is mostly Greeks. My daughter was in one of the sororities and it completely confounded me how much those groups did not care about being at the game. They have become content to sit on the Parade Grounds and watch on the flat screen and keep drinking into oblivion...
