Paul Mainieri: " I'm so happy that the season is over. Javi and myself are going to Cancun to relax and have fun together. Javi is such a great coach and it's a shame Bill that our players just didn't catch on this season. But that's baseball Bill. What can I say ?
I've won big Bill and so I am entitled to as many years as my buddy Skip wants me here. But that's baseball. Sometimes a couple of inches here and there make all the difference . Luck did not bounce our way Bill. Any way I feel so bad for these kids. It's a shame. I think I am going to the Casino..er.i mean go home and cry about this some more .
