Kinda douchey to purposely try and run someone down any time someone else mentions the place. Why Not just never go back and leave it be?

I've been about 5 times and each time enjoyed myself. All times have been with my guy friends and we have drinks, eat huge steaks, and have had a good time.
No complaints from me on the size/quality of the steaks I've had. And no complaints about the owner being a crazy person.

I stand by my statement that they are great people. Sorry you had a bad experience with them. I've known them outside of Doe's, and really like supporting their business.

I've been twice and both times my steak was over cooked. Apparently med rare means med well for them. I also found the service to be a bit off. The first time the waiter constantly wanted to make small talk and it was getting to the point of being annoying. The second time our waitress was pretty much rushing us through the whole meal. Overall, I don't think that place is worth what you pay for it.
