Anyone else see a lot of similarities between Trent Johnson at LSU and Monty?

Great first year with a pre-built team that is working on a scheme/system in place with some small adaptations, and then once that coach takes full control the team is erratic and inconsistent to down right bad at times?

Obviously if put in the right situation, Williams can be a successful coach, but this team does remind me a bunch of Trent Johnson's LSU teams after his first year.

What would be the comparison to Trent bolting for TCU? Monty taking a job with the Kings?

Monty hasn't landed a Top 50 recruit yet.

Monty at least has some limited knowledge of how to actually coach a basketball team and run an offense

Trent had literally no idea what he was doing on offense. None.
