sportsbook puts our o/u wins at 40.5/10th in West

To be honest, I'd be a bit disappointed in a 10th place finish, but the west is pretty loaded so it'll be hard for us to get that 8th seed in this core's first year together. I still think we're better than the Mavs, who are projected for 8th at 44.5 wins. Also, how the hell are the Wizards projected at 41.5 wins?

I don't think that's a terrible o/u, but I don't see the T'wolves being better than them. Also, I don't think Denver will be as good as they are predicting.

last year's was pretty easy to bet the over. this isn't. i think our second half record will be about 4-6 wins better than our first half record, so i guess it just depends how quickly the team get get its shite together.

they're healthy. they have a solid lineup and a very weak division.

I remember them being very close. I thought they underestimated us at the time, but they probably had a feeling that EG would miss a ton of time. Pretty sure that our winning % with him and AD playing would have easily gone beyond the over.

LOST BY THE HOOK!!! and we lost 4 or 5 games in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter. we were up big against the lakers (10-14 points) with 7 minutes left.

I predicted 40+ wins in my SW division thread on the MSB a few weeks back. Vegas nailed the o/u, imo.

Way too close for me to feel comfortable betting on but if forced I'd probably take the under. I think it'll end up +/- three games in either direction. Yes there's a lot of talent on the Pelicans but you don't just revamp the roster like that and come out playing flawlessly.
