I need some ideas.. he's a young pup only 10 months old. When I catch him, he knows he's not supposed to but he still does it when I'm not watching.. Anything I can put on it? like hot sauce or something

Spray either some bitter cherry spray or cayenne pepper spray on it.

Or put it on his nose when you see him. Immediately, not five minutes after, so keep it handy. You can also put the powder in holes they are digging.

Mine would always just lick the hot sauce, pepper, cayenne pepper whatever off and keep on going. Guess it depends on how sensitive your dog is. Shock collar is the best way, give him a little buzz when he chews on the furniture.

Put him outside.

If you keep him outside for a few weeks he'll learn there's another place to piss and crap too.

Spray his butthole with red pepper spray and also spray the furniture, he will eventually eat out his own butthole instead of your furniture... Works every time
