Fantastic article written by Ives Galarcep.

Can't wait to see what Arriola can do for the USMNT. He sounds/looks like a very promising prospect.

This guy deserves an October callup. He is no threat for dual nationality, but he is just that good. Been making an immediate impact for Xolos the minute he steps on the field.

Haha not a chance. We might as well try to pilfer the little pea.

Where did you see this?

From what I've read, Mexico has no real shot at Gil. This just isabout the worst time possible to try to convince a dual national player to switch to Mexico.

Mexico: we're in danger of not qualifying for the World Cup and were changing coaches more often than Chelsea.

U.S.: we've already qualified from the World Cup and are playing some of the best soccer in the history of this team.

Plus he plays at RSL so it's not like he's in Liga MX or anything.

Attacking mid. He's already passed joe corona on the xolos depth chart.

I thought he was more of a striker, but possibly withdrawn.

I saw it on Twitter, I believe it was Scairetta who was talking about it. He didn't say it was likely he'd move, but he was definitely hinting that they have tried and are still trying pretty hard.

You're correct. He's listed as a forward, but I think he's a "forward" like Landon is a forward. Obviously, I'm not saying Paul is of the same pedigree, he's just a technical, speedy player that you can stick up top, on the wings, or in the 10 spot.
