This was the best goal scored in the CL yesterday. It needs more attention. It was on the ESPN top 10 but of course C.Ron got the #1 spot.

I watched him play in his two leg WC qualifiers this past week and he was nearly unstoppable. His runs up the field were pacy and well timed and his ball control is elite. He was by far Slovakia's best player, and yes, that includes better than Hamsik.

I mean, it wasn't undeserved. CR7's goal was fantastic. So is this one. If I had to choose which was better I would say Weiss, but Ronaldo has that name recognition that bumps up everything he does.

It always amazes me how fast Ronaldo's feet are. Those were two bad arse goals

He had some flashes at Pescara last year but overall he wasn't all that great all that often.
