cabin the woods.. where was the plot twist?

Warning spoilers:

So I finally watched this and it seemed pretty obvious from the bird hitting the wall 10 minutes in they were on a stage for those guys in the control room.

I kept waiting for something else.. maybe the guys watching the teenagers were themselves being watched on monitors.

All I got was a giant cobra

Not saying I didn't enjoy it but I kept waiting for more.

That part cracked me up. Didn't understand the Japanese part. They turned a ghost into a frog?

My wife who was about to fall asleep even sat up at the scene with the swat guys in the hall when the red lights started blinking.

It's a deconstruction of the horror genre and the fan attitude towards it.

The horror fans were the gods.

A lot longer than that but there was no plot twist as such. It's called a satire.

Yeah, this was the main twist I guess if you want to look at it that way. Not really a twist, just in depth satire on a subtle level.
