Can't really decide on where to go or a type of food. Not Mexican. Any suggestions?

Sorry about that. We are looking to go out to a nice setting and eat. Price range 15-25 per entree. Italian, seafood something like that.

Figured I'd bump a similarly related recent thread rather than start a new one.

I am taking my lady out for dinner at Ginos Friday night. I've heard recommendations on this board that it is a good date spot. My question is: what is appropriate attire for the restaurant? Obviously the jorts and flip flops are at the dry cleaners for the game on Saturday, so will slacks and a button up suffice? Is a jacket necessary/appropriate/out of place?

Jacket won't be out of place but its also not at all necessary.

Thanks LL. I guess I'll wear one so I don't have to have sleeves on my shirt.

"Nice jeans" and a dress shirt...

Seriously slacks and a dress shirt. No jacket required. Get the seafood or crawfish arancine or the calamari as an app. Best calamari I've ever had and not specifically on the menu.
