Infamous 1 and 2 are good as well, though it contains no super heroes or villains from Marvel or DC.

It is essentially a super hero game, though.

If you don't own a PS3, you could give the first Crackdown a shot on 360, though I don't think it's quite a super hero game, more of a super cop game.

The new Deadpool looks fun if you are into campy humor on top of superhero gameplay.

Oh, and I've heard Injustice is a fun game, but be aware it's a fighting game, meaning basically 1 on 1 fights, best 2 out of 3, health bars, super meters, special moves, and so on and so forth.

Like Mr Gardoki and others have said, if you want a full fledged adventure that makes you feel like a super hero (specifically Batman), Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are pretty much the gold standard.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is legit too. Arkham Asylum got annoying/repetitive to me. Hated those Scarecrow parts.

Spider Man: Web of Shadows is much better than people give it credit for.

The Marvel Ultimate Alliance games were fun too.

Injustice is Mortal Kombat with DC characters.

Hey guys, new to the gaming board. This may sound silly as a 38-year-old, but I'm really looking forward to the new Lego Marvel game. I have a 6 year old and we love playing the Lego games together. LOTR was really cool.

And I 2nd, or 3rd, the Arkham City recommendation. I used to only buy the NCAA franchise and Call of Duty, but I picked up a used copy of Arkham City and really enjoyed it.
