It's too late in the cycle to do anything. Changing coaches might hurt them even more than they already suck. They're hoping to at least pull out a 3rd place finish and qualify. Although it's pretty dicey. 4th place is a legit possibility.

Did all of their good players retire and me not get the memo?
Not sure why everyone thinks they're falling off the map. They were the best team in CONCACAF and hit a slump.
It wasn't that long ago that we were fortunate to even get a point in a WCQ against them.

Since winning the gold medal,
Mexico has been abysmal. Bad in qualifiers, bad in Confederations Cup, and bad with their b team against Panama. But even their A team has been more impotent than pre-Viagra Bob Dole as of late

They need to change formations and somehow get Vela back into the fold. 5 wins in their 22 matches this year is an awful record. I wouldn't be surprised if Chepo is fired even if he gets into the WC. At that point you can go after a proven international (Bielsa and Hiddink) who can get the most out of the team in the WC.

They're so bad we actually got a point against them in Azteca.
Mexico was sucking arse long before we went down there in March.
