Doubt there is any interest. He won't be a starter, and Rodgers just said yesterday he is only looking for starters at this point. He claims to have finished building the "squad," while barely spending a dime.

i don't think either would be considered the most clinical of finishers. benteke certainly more clinical, particularly last year.

I was watching a compilation video the other day and all I thought about was the number of chances our attacking players fluffed. I suppose I don't remember them all in a sequence like that but when you put it all together it's pretty damning.

Yeah I don't agree whatsoever with his comments regarding Benteke not being a goal scorer. He is every bit the goal scorer that bent is, he just has another side to his game too. I actually do rate Giroud, or atleast think he deserves another year, but I think if y'all had him be Bentekes backup, y'all would be much better off. Personally, I think Benteke is a much better EPL fit than Higuain, he's also younger and has a bigger upside.
