I'd take Patterson over Miles

I would too! Could you imagine what Patterson would do with Leslie's talent every season?! Too bad LSU will never know because they gave a ridiculous contract to that Yankee!

Yeah, he might have led the SEC and BCS in wins since 2005 if he had the LSU job.

It's really hard to make a list like this. I always wonder what it would be like to move coaches around to see how they would perform in different jobs. Move coaches with less resources in bigger jobs and coaches with bigger jobs into rebuilding programs.

Urban Meyer. I hate the guy with a passion and think he's a classless, ego maniac...but it's hard to argue with his results. He gets the job done (even though people conveniently forget he left Florida in shambles by their standards).

he is a snake. 41 arrests from his 2008 roster. I believe this whole Aaron Hernandez is just a glimpse into why he left FLA. I bet if you dig deeper, someone needs to, there is more to this story at UF than we know

agreed I'd say he's 3rd behind Saban and Meyer. Remember he's 3-3 against Meyer and 3-4 against Saban.

Can't argue on this list. Seems accurate to me.

Excited that Cam will get Les out of play calling. Should be a great year.

LSU still had winning records playing in the SEC under Miles after Perrilloux forced JJ/JL to play right away.

Still dont think its as easy to recruit LSU as people think. we are finally getting out if the katrina funk. most if miles tenure, the state had been way down in recruiting. I think hes done an excellent job in that regard. You got to give him credit getting the players here and keeping the program at the top. And he does it in the hardest division in college football.

This is never said enough!

No LSU coach in history has coached this program at a time when the SEC was the most dominate conference in college football as Miles.

What Miles has been able to do for the last eight years is remarkable and the grief he gets from some clueless and spoiled LSU fans is sad.
