Probably one of the favorite sub-genres of music

Bowie, T. Rex, Transformers-era Lou Reed, New York Dolls, early Roxy Music, etc

The best genre of music in the best era for music (the early-mid 70's)

Post some of your favorites:

T. Rex - Metal Guru

Lou Reed - Vicious

Mott the Hoople - All the Way from Memphis

New York Dolls - Subway Train

Johnny Thunders - Pirate Love

Johnny Thunders - Chinese Rocks

New York Dolls - Jet Boy

T Rex - Petticoat Lane (takes 1 and 2)

Eta: that last one is kinda odd but I like it for some reason

Futuristic Dragon is vastly underrated imo. after Electric Warrior, its my fave Bolan album. plus he's riding a dragon on the album cover.

t rex - Calling All Destroyers
t rex - All Alone

some other solid jams

gary glitter - i love you love me love
the sweet - love is like oxygen

and from one of the greatest albums ever
brian eno - cindy tells me

NICE

I guess I didn't think about Eno being glam, but I guess those first 3 solo albums do fit in

oh definitely. between his first solo albums and his work with the early Roxy Music records, eno gave glam some weight that the bubble gum bands couldnt match. though i love some of that stuff too.

Going back and listening to Electric Warrior again is awesome. I forgot how much I loved this album.
