He's redeemed himself in my book after the Olympics. He's back to neutral.

My thoughts on Neymar:

I love watching him play. I hate watching him play.

He's good, and Messi will probably make him look great, but he is nowhere near worth the price Barca paid.

Agreed with every part of this statement.

And higuain and that guy from Shakhtar aren't worth 20+ but that's what arsenal and liverpool are rumored to be paying. Those are the market prices in today's Saudi oil and Russian mob backed soccer market

Even in today's game, with inflation of player values, he isn't worth that price. 48 million pounds is laughable. He's a very good player, and Barcelona will make him better. But he is nowhere near world class yet, and anywhere remotely close to that price tag is considered world class in the modern game.

And the term of the day is "world class."

Agree with most of what Beast said, and I'm a huge Neymar fan. That amount of dough for a young guy from the Brazilian league is ridiculous. Hope he turns into one of the hest in the world at Barcelona, but, yeah...ridiculous. It will be fun to watch a guy with his skills try to be consistent in a top league. He has insane pressure on him.

C'mon man. Neymar spends plenty of his time dancing. I'm sure that there are a couple of gifs that don't involve the US.

My biggest concern about his potential success is that he crumples at most any contact. He's going to have to be less of a little bitch to be worth his price tag.
