My "WTF happened to these guys" team. For sake of discussion, I am leaving off all the Royal crew of Moustakas, Hosmer, Perez, Cain (does anyone have a successful team while owning these guys?) as well as other well publicized busts BJ Upton, Heyward, Rickie Weeks and Ike Davis.

C Victor Martinez

The fact that VMart qualified a C really upped his value. People were all over him to bounce back from injury and continue to rake. But he looks pretty bad and is sitting at 13/2/24 with a .582 OPS. It appears the days of 20/100 are long guy with this guy. A great lineup is supporting him right now.

1B Paul Konerko

Another solid player of yesteryear that has fallen off. We had all expected it to come the last few years, but it appears the 37 year old is running out of gas. A .230 avg and .655 OPS really stick out for a guy who is normally .280 and .850. Farewell, sweet prince.

2B Emilio Bonafacio

What the fricking frick? All we ask is you steal bases and score runs. You were supposed to thrive in the potent Jays lineup, but continue to disappoint, son. Oh great, you have multi position eligibility.. 2B, OF, and Bench. GFY

3B Brett Lawrie

Ah, the perfect blend of power/speed from a corner infield position :rubshands: NOT! Seems he and his sister (see twitter) are more worried about bitching about the umpires. Dude hasn't been the same since he tossed his helmet at an umpire. And now he's hurt... again.

SS Erick Aybar

Another guy who was supposed to score 100 and steal 20 in a potent lineup. He has been teh suck and also injured. 11 runs, 1 steal

OF Martin Prado

Always lauded for being a steady contributor in all cats as well as being multi position eligible. Give us something, Martin! Your numbers suck even for a 2B.

OF Giancarlo Stanton

Based on ADP, he may be the ultimate bust thus far. When he's not hurt he's just been sucking. Toss is the shitting supporting cast and what do we have? Get on the field, Stanton!

OF Matt Kemp

Same as Stanton as far as ADP. Shoulder injury has supposedly hampered his power. Now he is likely headed for the DL. As many HRs as Don Kelly, Colin Cowgill, and Brandon Barnes.

SP David Price

What's there to say? One of the top 5 projected SPs now sports an ERA over 5 and is on the DL.

SP Jeremy Hellickson

This guy was supposed to be "Next". His K numbers dwindled and he left us with a nice ERA and WHIP, at least. Now it all seems to have fallen apart for this once promising youngster.

SP Josh Johnson

This was supposed to be your year! Supposedly fully recovered from injury, this guy was supposed to deal on his new team in a new league. But as always, he gets injured and is sporting a 6+ ERA. Is there any hope or is he the ultimate cock tease?

RP Jim Johnson

Saved 50+ last season. Now he has blown about as many games as he saved and has an ERA over 5. An already shitty K rate makes him even worse.

Hard to argue about Victor Martinez at C... but Miguel Montero, Jesus Montero, and Alex Avila are all terrible. Just fricking terrible.

Also Dan Haren... your ERA is supposed to go down in the NL. DOWN.

Your choice for sp should just be a link to my starters.

Halladay
Johnson
Haren

That's a big three.

Middlebooks could be in there as a lot of people expected more than .201/.234/.408 (although he does have 8 homers)

Cespedes is hitting homers but that is it with a .219/.289/.456

Josh Hamilton is a given anyone who drafted him early is probably hurting

Lyle Overbay is actually outslugging Pujols right now as well

My team was the all suck team:
I had Hamilton, Prado, Konerko and Montero all sucking it up. Even Bruce somewhat.

Also drafted Haren and Johnson.

Jason Heyward has been a dud too.

Made a huge mistake in one league of drafting Ian Desmond, then flipping him for VMart. Now my MI is Utley (good), Hardy (good for pop), and Walker (average).

And my catchers still suck.
